2482 Haj pilgrims selected from Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Haj Committed conducted computerized draw of Haj pilgrims from the state for the year 2010. A total of 2482 pilgrims were selected through the draw. As many as 166 pilgrim applicants are kept in wait list. Apart from this, 832 Haj pilgrim applicants pending since last three years will be sent for Haj in reserved quota. At a function for computerized draw held here, Madhya Pradesh Haj Committee Chairman Salim Qureshi presided. Member of Parliament Kailash Joshi, Shahar Kazi Bhopal, Mohammed Fazil Kazmi, Naib Shahar Kazi, Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi, Bhartiya Janta Party State Vice President Vijendra Singh Sisodiya, former Minority Commission member Sem Pavri, executive officer Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee Daood Ahmed Khan and several other dignitaries were present.
