Demanding studies or change in the patterns, parents are resorting to coaching for kids even in class as low as 1st standard. Is it due to the changing way of studying or is the course becoming difficult. Should the children be given coaching at such an early stage? A concept that developed for higher classes at least post 9th standard to help the child cope with the growing demands of studies. Or may be things he/she could not understand in regular classes could be explained by the tuition teacher. It has now become a crutch for both students and parents. Is extra coaching helpful? Its not mearly availability of parents time but more of the way education and career paths have become extreamly competitive now you need some professional guidence to attain that additional edge above your pears and for that it becomes essential to take help from some real and genuine expert identifying the same is what is more crucial looking at the way these centers have been cropping up like muchrooms in every nook n corner also one should just not get carried away with the created brand values and the massive ads to substantiate them coz this would be the most important decision in once career so before finalising one should do proper homework by understanding the genuinity of the center.
There are two types of tuition work. One, supportive to the curriculum and the other additional to the curriculum. For instance, when a student wants to prepare for the IIT-JEE he/she might need an additional program to help him/her augment the skills they possess and hone it to the needs of JEE. As Muktiar says, a supportive tuition is needed if your ward is weak in a subject and you are not in a position to help him/her. Otherwise, tuition is not needed. Forcing kids into tuition programs when there is no need, will eat away their free time to learn something more than what is taught in the school. Every learning is important; on and off the school for the kid. Kids learn more with the society and its experiences than from what the books teach them.
Now a days tuition or coaching is fashion. Teaching in school is feel bored and in coaching he /she feel good & give attention student goes to school just for time pass and get to gather, they goes to tuition or coaching class for listening, because their parents pays more charges then school fee. If student listen to teacher carefully as in coaching class they no need to join coaching, it is also a status simbel to parents as well as students.
It is a question which may be pertinent to few and may not be to few others. Actually tuition hasbecome a necessity since a unpractical system of education is unable to do their job successfully and tuition classes have got to complete the incomplete job of schools & colleges to make students feeel comfotrtable in their studies.In real sense thogh it is not required if the schools & colleges do their job well, but unfortunately it is only a wish that institutes will deliver the goods.I am for it and I say this with authenticity that if tuitions are not available then the children will become orphans since they wont have any source to understaqnd what they have no
If you are too busy to help your child do home work then tuition is the best way to get it done. As for as learning is concerned at tuition, there is no learning. t seems that the responses against tutions are of those people whose kids are not in school . they would never understand the situation faced by the working parents of intelligent students. whether the school is best one or ordinary one, they have 40 students in one class. do you think it is possible at all that a teacher would give same sort of timing and devotion to each and every student. that too in a short span of periods of about 40 minutes. so you yourself are a better judge that what you gotta do. my ward is brilliant in studies. but i never knew he was brilliant till his tutor helped him . i am thankful to the tutor as she is the only one who brought forward the best in my ward. and my son is in the one of the best school in delhi.
