Freida Pinto has emerged as the punters' favourite on being signed as the next Bond babe. The Slumdog Millionaire star is listed with the shortest odds of 11/ 10 by popular bookmakers, Paddy Power.
Megan Fox has odds of 5/ 1. Keira Knightley ( 8/ 1) and Jessica Alba ( 10/ 1) are the other favourites to bag the heroine's role in the yet untitled Bond 23. Reports are already rife that the makers of the film have shortlisted Freida as one of the top names to be tried for the coveted part.

In fact, the western media is already speculating that Freida might grab the big role. Among other global beauties in the Bond babes betting list are Angelina Jolie ( 14/ 1), Scarlett Johansson ( 14/ 1), Jessica Biel ( 16/ 1) and Beyonce Knowles ( 18/ 1). Freida, on her part, is strictly noncommittal.

Coming back to Freida, speculations have been constantly positive about her bagging the role. A few months ago, Freida was the top choice among punters for the Bond babe role with odds of 15/ 8.

Freida continues to hobnob with biggies in Hollywood. Right now she is all set to work with Oscar- nominated actor Mickey Rourke in the action epic, Dawn Of War . Rourke has been cast as King Hyperion. Freida plays Phaedra, the Greek priestess who helps prevent a cataclysmic war. Tarsem Singh will direct the flick.

For Freida, 2010 promises to be big in Hollywood. Woody Allen's You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger , co- starring Josh Brolin and Naomi Watts is scheduled for a September release. She is rumoured to have got Rs 15 crore for her role in Allen's film. She also plays the title role in Julian Schnabel's Miral .

The model- turned- actress feels she is too young to be a Bond girl. She has said:'There's not much of a role, though some of them have become iconic. And you need somebody mature and more pretty than me.' She feels that the talk of her being a Bond girl is flattering.

It's interesting to note that Hollywood beauty Jennifer Aniston, who is also believed to be in the Bond babe race, has already stated that she would love to do an action movie.
