Bomb hoax at PNB New market Bhopal

A threat to blow up the Punjab National Bank branch, this afternoon, in the bustling New Market area here, turned out to be a hoax after a bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs did not find any explosive after a roughly hour-long search, police said.
The threat, received on the Bank's landline at about 1330 hrs, is suspected to be a prank and such incidents increase in the festive season. The Branch Manager instantly alerted police.

Truck crushes bike rider
Under the jurisdiction of Misrod Police a rashly driven truck crushed a bike rider on Monday evening. The bike rider died a painful death on the spot. After the accident the truck driver fled from the scene.
In this connection police have registered a case and initiated their proceedings. According to police Hemant Bandiya son of ML Bandiya was coming towards Bhopal on his motorcycle. On way a rashly driven truck (MP-09 K-6416) hit the bike rider. The collision was so intense that the bike rider died on the spot.

Two teachers end life
After getting fed up of the atrocities of Madhya Pradesh Government two teachers of Rajgarh district Rambabu Bairagi and Veram Singh Parihar ended their lives. Today teachers in entire State were on hunger strike and went to Shiv temple and prayed to the Lord to bring wisdom upon Shivraj Singh's Government.
Rajya Adhyapak Sangh has vehemently criticised this and said to the government that it should give up its draconian policies and seriously consider the problems of teachers who have been exploited for 14 years otherwise its consequences could be very serious. Rajya Adhyapak Sangh State secretary Hiranand Narvariya maintained that agitation is going on in State for problems of teachers.

Youth ends life
In Govindpura area a youth who was denied to drink liquor on Sunday night got annoyed and committed suicide by hanging in the house. At the time of committing suicide he was under severe influence of liquor. In this connection police have registered a case and initiated further probe. According to police Ramesh son of Haridas used to live in Azad Nagar. He was addicted to liquor. Last night when he came to the house under severe influence of liquor then his mother asked him to abstain from liquor. Getting annoyed over this he committed suicide.

Youth run over by train
Under the jurisdiction of Aishbag Police Station last night a youth was run over by train. Police have registered a case in this connection. According to police last night at 11 O'clock they were informed a body of youth was lying at railway crossing. On receiving information police reached at the site of incident and recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. Identity of the deceased has not been established yet.

Woman commits suicide
In the jurisdiction of Piplani Police a newly married woman committed suicide last evening by hanging on the noose. Reasons of the woman committing suicide are not known. Police have registered a case and started investigation. According to police Sarita Sahu wife of Mahesh Sahu used to live in Piplani. Last evening she ended her life. On receiving information of the incident police broke the door and took out the body of woman and sent it for post-mortem. Police have registered a case and started probe.
