Bhopal, Oct 5 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said the main targets of resolutions for a 'golden Madhya Pradesh' have to be completed by 2013 by all means.
''Practical suggestions that will be received to achieve the objective, will form the basis for the next budget,'' he said while inaugurating a two-day workshop 'Manthan-2009' -- a brainstorming exercise -- at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management here, as per an official release.
Besides members of the Council of Ministers, about 200 officials, including principal secretaries, secretaries, heads of department, divisional commissioners, district collectors and chief executive officers of district panchayats are participating.
The Chief Minister said the workshop was organised to bring about necessary changes in government machinery and fix practical priorities so as to facilitate speedy development and ensure that government schemes' benefits percolate to the common man sans delay. ''The present mother-infant mortality rate is not a good sign,'' Mr Chouhan said while stressing on improvement in quality of education.
